Yes Roger, the facts can be “divisive”  BUT THEY ARE STILL THE FACTS!

Mike,

My blood pressure is usually pretty good, and don't be alarmed - I doubt its any higher right now than usual. I also feel that the republicans have their (our) faults, but don't hold a candle to the direction the Democrats have, and continue, to lead us in.

I believe Sean claims to be an Independent. I could be wrong, but it doesn't really matter, does it? His party affiliation makes no difference if all he does is trash the only candidate(s) that can beat Obama in this election. His position is usually supportive of Ron Paul, but has also said he would vote for Gary Johnson. I don't think I have ever heard him support Romney. His comments are divisive and only serve to weaken the support for the "front-runner" against Obama. His comments are, in my opinion, not an expression of his views, so much as they are designed to dilute the support from Romney, which serves only to benefit Romney. Right or wrong as that may be, Sean is a steady stream of comments that detract from the support for the strongest candidate in the fight against Obama. I oppose that point of view and I'm resistant to allowing that voice to be heard without rebuttal.

I have not attended the BREC meetings, but that's not because I don't agree or support BREC in any way. I don't think I've seen you at my ACT! for America meetings either, but, that wouldn't mean you disagree with our position on Islam or Shariah, right?

To be clear, I don't know what the future holds with the R/R team holding the reins, any more than anyone else. I do know where Obama has led us to this point and where he intends to bring us, if he gets a second term. So, I maintain the primary objective in this election is to vote Obama OUT of the White House. Do you really think any ticket, named or un-named, has a better chance to beat Obama than the Romney/ Ryan ticket? If not, then we may as well ALL get on the RomneyRyan ticket and cause that to happen - THAT is the primary objective and any talk that weakens that effort is divisive and destructive. It's highly unlikely that a new front-runner can gain enough support to defeat Obama in the remaining 71 days to the election.

You may find this as humorous as I do -  I've said, many times, that I would vote for Popeye the sailor if he was the only one who could defeat Obama. Today, Paul Ryan was speaking and in response to a question, he said; "I yam what I yam!" almost in Popeye's style!  Don't you just love when a plan comes together?!

Fear not, my friend! We New Yawka's are a tough breed - You won't lose me so easily!

Roger

I don't recall Sean saying he was even a republican since he resigned from BREC.  I haven't seen you at a BREC meeting.  Are you a member?
I agree with you that the objective is to get Obama out of the white house.  I'm not so sure R/R will be much better for liberty in the long run.
I believe that Sean, as well as I, will vote our conscious this election.  I believe you will, too.
As I said before, the big D's and the big R's are not so far apart in the plans they have for our country.  They REALLY LIKE the two party(HA!) system and work like crazy to keep the illusion that we have a real choice.  If Dr. Paul is no big deal, why did the RNC go against the rules to make sure he wouldn't even get a chance to be nominated?  What are the big R's afraid of?
I promise that I will not vote for Obama.  In fact, if the only other candidate was my Red Wing work boot, I would vote for it over Obama.  At least it has a soul.
The economic train wreck is foregone.  The best you can do is prepare for it and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same.  I am not as prepared as I want to be but I am better prepared than most.  Obama will be reelected or not.  Either way, I am not afraid.
Please have a glass of wine and check your blood pressure.  I don't want to loose you.  Mike

Don'y you read?

And its only OBAMA that you're helping with your divisive talk! You've already exposed where your true allegiance lies, long ago!

Let everyone re-read my reply to your rhetoric. There was no hate. I simply said that any talk to divert votes away from Romney/Ryan will benefit Obama.

I can understand how you would hate that, knowing where YOUR support lies and what your true intentions are.

I can't wait to hear what you'll say to divide the support for Romney after he's declared the official GOP candidate.

You're a RHINO, Sean. Your arguments benefit only Obama.

The "Fact" is simple; The primary objective is to beat Obama and Ron Paul can't do that. Vote for the ticket that can beat Obama. But the way most people with a thinking, functioning brain (with neurons that fire) would think that Romney/Ryan is the ticket with the best shot to do that.

Of course, there are some that will still write in names like Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, Popeye, Clark Kent and even Sean Freeman, but that would only help Obama win because none of those names can defeat Obama!

We need to assemble everyone together, to defeat Obama. Those who take a different view and cast a vote for a ticket that cannot win, will only contribute to an Obama second term.

So, moan and groan, and call those who want to defeat Obama "Sheeple" but what I've said here, is a fact!  Any vote for any ticket other than the Romnet/Ryan ticket will be a vote that could help put Obama into a second term.

Now, let me hear some "Mental Midget" accuse me again of asking for support for the Pepsodent Smile guy with a $2:00 haircut. It's just more divisive talk that helps ONLY the Obama team.

The PRIMARY OBJECTIVE is to beat Obama in November. Do what you can to make that happen or help the enemy win. That's the choice we have. It's Obama or Romney - There are plenty of others you can vote for, but there are NO other potential winners in this election, other than Romney or Obama.  So, vote for Romney, or cast your vote for anybody else and help Obama win.

THAT is the reality in this election.

How much worse can it get? This is part of what many of us have been complaining about. The Republican establishment does not respect the tea party movement!

Is the GOP self-destructing?

Stop the Establishment from Rewriting the RNC Rules

As you may know the Romney camp is pushing new rules that would strip grassroots activists of any meaningful ability to participate in presidential politics. The process has always been bottom-up, but Romney officials have rewritten the rules so that the nominee can stifle any dissent on the platform committee and even unseat delegates. Make no mistake, this will weaken the process by which Republicans chose their candidate for president and push the grassroots out of the party process.
>From Buzzfeed reporter Zeke Miller: "The Republican National Convention Rules Committee voted 63-38 to approve a new rule allowing granting the Republican National Committee - and Mitt Romney - sweeping new powers to amend the governing document of the GOP.

The move came at the encouragement of Mitt Romney supporters on the committee, including Romney's top lawyer Ben Ginsberg, who stressed that it would grant "flexibility" to Romney and the committee to adapt to changing political environments. The rule allows the RNC to amend the party's rules without a vote by the full Republican National Convention. And it offers the Republican Establishment a new tool to keep at b[a]y Tea Party initiatives that threaten to embarrass or contradict party leadership and stray from a planned message." (emphasis added)
Please locate the phone number of your State Republican Party Headquarters below, call them immediately, and tell them to oppose Romney's new rules that strip grassroots activists of the ability to participate in the Republican platform process:
