I also watched the speech and while the delivery was great, as usual with Clinton, the facts were, for the most part, either lies (remember - I did not have sex with that women) or distortions.
The only effect that Gary Johnson can have on the election is to help Obama get elected. You can have all of the principles in the world but if you vote for Gary Johnson you might as well pull the lever for Obama.
I hear praise for Ron Paul and criticism for Ryan. Has Ron Paul ever put a detailed fiscal proposal together and gathered support in congress to get it passed or has he just pontificated? If he has put such a plan together point me at it and show me what support he has developed in the house.
Ryan has put a plan together and I am in 100% disagreement with you that it is a road to socialism. It is a plan that has a chance of getting us started on the correct path. It has support in the House. Financial markets as well Bowles have praised his plan. BTW the reason he did not vote for Simpson Bowles is because it did not address entitlements.
As far as I am concerned, a Vote for Gary Johnson is a vote to put us on the path to socialism because that is where Obama will take us.

I just watched former President Bill Clinton seal the deal for a second term for President Barack Obama.  I will watch for the fact checkers tonight and tomorrow.  But sadly, we on the Republican side have no counter to former President Clinton.  He appears to have complete command and control of the facts like no other modern-day politician.  I remain hopeful though for a Gary Johnson surge so we will actually have the option to go a different direction as a country.  The Romney/Ryan plan presents a bumpy road to communism via socialism.  Former President Clinton has paved that road in gold tonight.  Only former Republican Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson's platform is a u-turn to free-market capitalism.  At this point, we Republicans can only hope most of the country has been watching the Giants-Cowboys game.  In the end, it is still most likely "game over" for Romney/Ryan.
