Dear Chairman Davis,

The Republican Liberty Caucus Board of Directors has reviewed the contents of this forwarded email from Brevard Tea Party Chairman, Matt Nye, concerning statements made by Dale Davis. We found his comments to be despicable and inexcusable.  Based on that review our Board voted to call for his resignation as District 5 Chairman of the BREC, and also his resignation as a Brevard County Republican Party Precinct Committeeman.  We also voted to call on the Board of the BREC to condemn this behavior in the strongest possible terms, to demand his resignation from his positions within the BREC, and if necessary, to use whatever powers are provided in your bylaws to remove him from these offices in the event he refuses to resign voluntarily. Mr. Davis has a Constitutional Right to free speech, but he does not have the right to sully and damage the reputation of the BREC through his association with said organization.

Knowing you Madam Chairman and the other members of your Board the way we do, we expect that you are already in the process of initiating these actions. We can't imagine any set of circumstances under which you would not be taking these steps. However, John Weiler is prepared to bring this matter up on our behalf at your next board meeting should it be necessary.

Respectfully,
Bob White
Chairman, RLC CEF

Dear Robert,

All we've heard on the news today is the story about the racist comments by Clippers owner Donald Sterling's during a recorded conversation with his girlfriend.
As despicable as that story is, I'm sad to say we've got one just as bad here locally, and the inidividiual in question is running for... the Brevard County School Board.
Click here to see the stunning tweet this candidate made and ask yourself if you want someone like this making decisions about your child's education.

In liberty,

Matt Nye

About the Brevard Tea Party:
The Brevard Tea Party is a non-partisan movement to revive the spirit of the Founders and restore the Constitutional Republic. The first Brevard Tea Party took place April 19th, 2009 at the Wickham Park Event Pavilion at Brevard Community College. More than 1,500 patriots turned out to send a message to anyone that would listen. That message was: NO MORE! No more waste, no more spending, no more entitlements. Since that fateful day we have organized numerous successful events, and changed the political landscape in Brevard County. Please click here to join.
