What is your hiking experience? (e.g. how long have you been hiking, how often do you get out , where are some of your favorite places, etc.)

I picked back up with hiking in the Whites summer of 2010 and did my 48 4Kers (with none of them as winter peaks) in about a year. Started winter hiking in 2010. 13 winter peaks so far! Just two NE100 points left in NH! Now working on my RMC100, Winter Peaks and Trailwright's 72 list. I try to get out every weekend in good weather - probably every other weekend in the winter.

What type of hikes do you like best? (e.g. day hikes, overnight backpacks, hikes that may involve off-trail "bushwhacking", etc.)

I prefer very long day hikes. I don't have the skills for a bushwhack but I'm looking for someone to lead some of those hikes to the NE100 points (Scar Ridge is yet to be scheduled! ANYONE?)

What are your hiking goals? (e.g. just like hiking, enjoy being outdoors, looking to finish one of the "lists", etc.)

I'm redlining the RMC trails for the RMC 100. This is very interesting because there are a lot of sub-summits and features there. I also hope to finish the Presidential Range in winter by grabbing Madison, Adams and Jefferson this winter. I want to do myTrailWright's 72 and finish the NEHH points in NH (Scar Ridge and Nancy)

What is the most strenuous/difficult hike that you have done? What made it so tough?

Mt. Madison was my 3rd hike in 2010 and I was not in shape for it!! Washington in March of 2011 - just steep and not used to the crampons & snow fields on such an angle.

Do you have any outdoor leadership experience? Would you be interested in organizing and leading your own events with the Random Hikers??

Yes -and now I do!
