Invitation to open house/Family Maker Festival

Dear Robotics Members,

I got below message from Margie. Please let Margie know if anyone can attend that event.

Best,
Hansol

Travis Good and Ross Watanabe suggested that I contact you about a request from the principal of Innovation Middle School in San Diego.

This middle school is dedicated to STEM education, and they are having an open house/Family Maker Festival. The principal, Nicola Labas, contacted the SDMMF Facebook page looking for makers who would be willing to participate. Most of the activities are "make it, take it" but they would be very happy to have some makers who could come and demonstrate things that they have made. Quad rotors and robotics would be especially exciting for students at this school.

The event is Wednesday, May 14, 6-7:30 pm, and will be held in the school courtyard at  5095 Arvinels Ave, San Diego, CA.

I know that many SD makers are headed to San Mateo that week. Could you recommend a robotics enthusiast who is likely to be in town that week, and who would enjoy demonstrating/talking about robotics to middle schoolers and their families?

Hansol, I appreciate any suggestions you have. Anyone who is interested can contact the principal, Nicola,[address removed] or me, [address removed].

Thanks for your help in making people aware of this opportunity!
