What are your other ourdoor pursuits?

Mountain biking, Paddling, Sailing, Skiing, Yoga, Parenting, Typically anything outside or involving travel.

Where have you climbed and where is top on your list to go to next? What are you hoping to get from being a member of this group?

All over CO, UT, AZ, Yosemite, Needles CA, Joshua Tree... We actually plan on traveling(climbing and surfing) the world via sailing yacht starting fall 2013. But for now, we are hoping to find a breath of fresh air from the Scottsdale/Urban scene. Always looking for an excuse to get out of town.

What rating can you top rope?, lead sport?, lead trad? If you are a new climber, please state so. How long have you been climbing? What gear do you own?

I have a redponted a handful of 5.12 routes in the past, both sport and trad. We are both a bit "off the couch" right now as far as climbing goes, but with any sort of regular climbing I feel I would quickly be back into the 5.10 area. Typically I prefer trad climbing over sport but with the kids and all we're kind of just looking for some casual cragging for now.

Have you read and understand this groups climbing disclaimer? Do you understand that rockclimbing is a dangerous sport and you are responsible for your own safety?

yes

Introduction

We are joining in hopes of meeting some young families that like to get out. We're pretty much your quintessential "reformed" dirt-bag climbers. We moved to Scottsdale from Southwest CO and have yet to find our peeps. Our kids are 6 & 8.
