A full day event, this is largely for the beginners to understand boat control, paddle strokes, kayak re-entry, and generally get comfortable on the water.
The cost for the event is Rs. 3000 per person and the cost includes the following:
1. Kayak and gear rental (Kayak, paddle, helmet, PFD & spray deck)
2. Course instructor charges
Transport can arranged upon request, however the charges will be extra and based on actuals.
Water and chai will be provided at the venue and is included in the cost.
What to bring along for this session. If you have your gear, your personal gear. PFDs are a must on this trip. Plus, anything you wear, ensure it will not come lose and get lost in case you swim, for example, necklace or sunglasses (without tether). Bring enough water, a change of clothes, sun screen, cap or hat (that will remain on your head, even in case of a swim), snacks. Wear water resistant shoes, or sandals.

To get comfortable in a kayak on the water.
Kayak and kayaking gear nomenclature & design.
Unloading a kayak, Launching a kayak, paddle strokes, boat control, kayak re-entry (not the same as an eskimo roll), self rescue, assisted rescue. A more detailed program will be provided.
