3 famous climbers speaking at National Geographic

Alex Honnold, Mark Synnott, and Jimmy Chin are considered a dream team to climbers worldwide. Join them on their latest adventure scaling the rugged seaside cliffs of Oman, an Arab state near the Persian Gulf. For a forthcoming National Geographic story, the three headed for the remote Musandam Peninsula, accessible only by sea. They grappled with sheer limestone cliffs towering over deep ocean and perfected their deep-water solo climbing followed by high diving off the rockface. Hear about it from Alex, Mark, and Jimmy themselves, and enjoy Jimmy’s awe-inspiring images and video.

Tickets cost $40 (plus a $3.20 service fee) and can be purchased at http://events.nationalgeographic.com/events/speakers/2013/12/09/climbing-oman/
