Southeast Winter Ride - Elizabeth & Deerfield

Through the winter months we are doing a mix of rides on the north and south side of the metro area on weekends that are nice enough for a good club ride!

These scenic routes on the southeast side will all have a lot of rolling terrain with some short climbs mixed in. Routes will include Surrey Ridge, the Pinery, Daniels Park, Deerfield and more!

This ride will meet at Prairie Sky Park (a little west of the I-25/Ridgegate interchange) at 9:45 with wheels turning by 10:00.

The weather this week looks amazing, so let's get a longer one in--and one of my favorite RMCC rides at that! We'll do a big figure 8 that heads out to Elizabeth and then takes in a loop I could just do all day--Deerfield. The route is a mix of quiet roads, some moderately trafficked roads, one miles of sucky road, and bike path at the end. The loop is 67 miles.

Our formal regroup point will be the Murphy Express in Elizabeth at mile 31.

We will have other periodic quick regroups, but like all RMCC rides, this should be considered a drop ride.
