Allow me to introduce myself. I am Austin Petersen, from the Libertarian National Committee in Washington D.C. I work as the Volunteer Coordinator, and have been charged with the task of helping one of our Libertarian candidates in their campaign. I am currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Campaign Manager for the campaign of Russell Means in South Dakota.
Russell Means has been described by the L.A. Times to be the most famous American Indian since Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. He has demonstrably opposed the powers of unreasonable governments to ensure the peace and safety of Indians for decades. He has devoted his life to end racism and ensure Constitutional rights of the people. Currently he is seeking the Presidency of the Pine Ridge Sioux Indian Reservation. As a campaign manager for Russell Means you would be directly working to promote his ideals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, attaining venues for speeches, correspondence with news agencies, fundraising, strategic promotion and distribution of informative materials, recruiting volunteers and delegating tasks to accomplish these goals.
In order to ensure that we have the best possible match to fulfill this role, we are specifically looking for candidates that have the following skills:
? Demonstrated leadership
? Media Coordination Experience
? Fundraising Experience
? Strategic reasoning, including demographical considerations
? Ability to coordinate and execute multiple events in high stress environments
? Strong interpersonal relations and communication
