I broke the fast with friends and fellow dancers. Thanks. It was a nice evening and met new folks. Hope to see all again and invite you to join us at the Branford dance when you're up that way. The next dance is this coming Saturday. For information:

Did I hear something about gumbo?

    • Anna

You did. And it's not too spicy.

And my friend Diane is making cheesecake and brownies!
I'm bringing baked ziti and salad. My husband volunteered to make the sauce.

Diane, my friend, made lots of Mexican casserole so this is going to be delicious!

Hmmm, sounds very interesting. Not blistering please! I'm game for moderate heat. :-)
What cuisine are you talking about?

I think it best for me to meet Carol at the Stamford Museum at 5pm for potluck & audio set up and accept Bob's offer for a ride home.

Carol & Bob, thank you and please confirm.

Hi, Evelyn! I have wheels, and would enjoy giving you a ride, if you haven't already found transportation. [masked] is my home number, and anyone else who might need a ride can fit in my car, too!

  • Carol M

I can pick up Evelyn if she wants to come really, really early! Evelyn, do you want to come for the potluck?
As for going home I'm sure there will be someone. I'm probably going to be taking the caller home.

I may need a ride home if my car is not repaired by then. I live about 7 miles south of the Stone House, not so very far.

I'm doing audio, so could get the bus to arrive 7pm, but the bus doesn't run by the time the dance will be finished.

Asking is difficult, for some, but dancing is fun for all! I am greatly appreciative of the patience and understanding of a wonderful group of people! Looking forward to it!
