For this event, you must register with Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy instead of on this Meetup page.
Join Nancy Morgan, Director Emeritus, Georgetown Lombardi Arts and Humanities Program, for this monthly opportunity, presented by Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy, to enjoy the combined health benefits of time spent in nature and writing thoughts and feelings. Writing is often considered a solo, reflective practice, but writing in the company of others can be a supportive, community building activity that encourages regular practice. Each session is a stand-alone event – come when you are able. Registration for each session is open through the morning of the workshop. Signup to receive directions. - Bluebells walk and WatercolorShenandoah University River Campus at Cool Spring Battlefield, Bluemont, VA

Bluebells!!! Eagles! Herons! Oh my :)We will gather to celebrate the many gifts of the season! During our 2 mile walk through the beautiful grounds of Cool Spring we will enjoy nature through our 5 senses; seeing bluebells and trees starting to bud, hearing the birds, smelling the spring flowers, touching new growth moss.
During our gathering we will experience various meditative practices in nature including a time sitting in a forest to reflect.
At some point, we will then capture the moment in watercolor. This is for beginners!!!
We will close our gathering with a time of sharing.
