Что мы из себя представляем

Travel is so much more than just visiting a place, taking pictures so you can show you’ve been there and moving onto the next place without another thought. For us, travel is all about those priceless experiencesof which you’ll still be sharing stories decades later.

We love being travelers, not tourists, by traveling in a laid-back style. We believe travel is all about stepping outside of the comfort zone; testing the boundaries and exploring the world that exists outside the familiar bubble. We strive to create as many memories and moments during our trip as possible.

We believe the beauty of travel is that it immerses you into new territories, opens your heart and soul, often changing and transforming your perspective on the world, meeting new people, learning new languages, relishing new cuisines, witnessing and appreciating different cultures, traditions and lifestyle.

We are committed to take the discerning travelers to explore the undisturbed areas to experience and appreciate nature and cultural heritage of the place. We support the hosts who preserve and maintain the ecological integrity of the environment and contribute to the development of the local community.

We invest time and resources researching to determine whether a trip appeals to our travel sensibilities to feature them.

We invite you to join us in a travel experience that positively impacts the people and places we treasure.

Travel like a local!!!

Warm regards,

Mystical Ladakh - with Hemis Festival

Ladakh

27 000,00 ₹

Ladakh is known for its magnificent landscapes, snow-capped mountains, color changing lakes, deep lush valleys, Buddhist monasteries, the people, festivals and rituals. Get set to visit one of the most beautiful places on earth! You are about to witness the pristine beauty of this mesmerizing land – do star gazing under the night sky, take a ride in the highest motor-able road in the world, test your photography skills by clicking incredible pictures. Get first-hand experience of the Ladakhi way of living, eat fresh organic food, enjoy Ladakhi music and dance. Get to be a part of the Ladakhi culture. Take a walk into the narrow lanes of the hamlets, and into the homes and the hearts of the locals. We try to remain secluded from the mainstream touristy places, beyond the routine. So leave all your tensions and worries behind, come and have an experience of a lifetime. ITINERARY Day 01 (10th July): Fly to Leh (-/-/D) Arrive at Leh and head to the home-stay for rest. Leh, the capital of Ladakh is situated at a height of 11000 feet above sea level. Your body requires acclimatization at such high altitude. Relax as much as you can. Later, in the evening we take a stroll in the Leh market. We return to our home-stay for overnight stay. Day 02 (11th July): Hemis Festival (B/-/D) After early breakfast, we head to Hemis Gompa, the largest and richest of the monasteries in Ladakh founded by Tsang-raspa under the royal patronage of Singe Namgyal in 1630. Feast your eyes with the sacred masked dance called Chams performed by the monks around the central flag-post. We drive to reach Thiksey Gompa which belongs to red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, considered to be the most beautiful of all the monasteries in Ladakh. We also visit Shey Palace built by Deldan Namgyal at the beginning of the 17th century AD. The main image in the monastery is a three story statue of Buddha Shakamuni, made of copper gilt which was made by Deldan Namgyal in the memory of his father Singay Namgyal. The statue is the only one of its kind in the region. Day 03 (12th July): Leh – Khardung La – Diskit – Hunder (B/-/D) After breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La – the Highest Motor-able Road in the World at 18,390 feet, around 39 km from Leh. After a brief halt at the pass, we continue our drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as the valley of flowers. To the north of the valley lies Siachen Glacier while the iconic Karakoram Pass and Sasser Pass are located on the north-western side. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 feet above sea level. We visit the Diskit Gompa, one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Ladakh. Built in 1420 AD, the Gompa is placed on a hilltop and belongs to Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. One can capture the beautiful views of Karakoram Range from the monastery. But the main attraction of Diskit Gompa is the 32 meter high statue of Maitreya Buddha placed on a small hillock close to the Gompa. The statue overlooks the valley, facing down the Shyok River and is a striking example of skilled craftsmanship. We then drive to Hunder where we witness the goofy looking Double Humped Bactrian Camel amidst the wide expanse of white sand dunes of the high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. (Though a camel ride is possible, we as an ethical travel company do not recommend it). In the evening, we walk around the village to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Day 04 (13th July): Hunder – Turtuk – Last Indian Village (B/-/D) Today we head to Turtuk, a tiny village situated 21 km before the Indo-Pak Border, the closest you can get to the border. Turtuk was under the control of Pakistan till 1971 after which India gained control of this village. On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India. This remote north-west corner of Ladakh until that night was part of Baltistan in PoK. Opened to tourists only a few years ago, Turtuk offers views of beautiful valley, part of the Shyok Valley, the LoC is just 12 kms away. Turtuk is a breath of freshness in the form of green pastures, in an otherwise barren landscape. Everything from apricots, apples, tomatoes, cauliflowers and cabbages grow in Turtuk. We can even visit a village just before the LoC, if we can manage permits from Indian Army. Explore the village by foot. Day 05 (14th July): Turtuk – Leh (B/-/D) Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Then, we start our return drive to Leh via Khardungla Top and check in to the home-stay. We visit Leh Palace – a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh and then to Shanti Stupa – Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop that gives panoramic view of snow-capped mountains. Overnight at Leh. Day 06 (15th July): Leh – SECMOL – Alchi – Likir –Leh (B/-/D) Today we visit the SECMOL Campus, a sustainable school which has self-learning as their curriculum. Are you reminded of the Bollywood blockbuster, “3 idiots”? If yes, this school founded by Sonam Wangchuk is the real life inspiration of the character of “Phunsuk Wangdu” in the movie. Interact with the students who belong to remote villages of Ladakh. We then proceed to Alchi Gompa – the most beautiful monastery of Ladakh, followed by Likir Gompa – the 11th century monastery known for its 75 feet statue of Buddha. Also, visit confluence of Zanskar and Indus, so called Sangam by the locals, Magnetic Hill - which is known to defy the law of gravity, Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib - built and maintained by the Indian army, Hall of Fame – a glorious museum constructed and maintained by the Indian army in memory of the brave soldiers who fought and lost their lives in the Indo-Pak wars. NOTE: Those who are keen in biking can rent a bike and go around this day. Day 07 (16th July): Leh – Pangong Lake (B/-/D) Today we proceed for one of the most beautiful & scenic, salt water Pangong Lake at Spangmik via Changla Pass (17350 ft). Various Bollywood movies have been shot at this lake. Pangong Lake is 14,000 ft above sea level. It is 6-7 kilometer wide and over 130 km long, bisected by the international Indo-China Border. The beauty of Pangong is just unimaginable and you would want to capture it into your cameras and eyes from every angle. Experience the peace and silence that you had been craving for, just by looking at the color changing lake. Have the evening at leisure around the lake and overnight stay at the camp or guest house. Stars seem so close to you at night here that you feel like raising your hand to touch them. Overnight at Pangong Lake. Day 08 (17th July): Pangong Lake – Leh (B/-/D) Wake up early for the mesmerizing sunrise from behind the mountains. Spend some quality time at Pangong Lake. After breakfast, we start our return journey to Leh. End the day with a stroll in the market to take home some souvenirs. Day 09 (18th July): Bid Adieu! Witness postcard-pretty vistas… White sandy beaches… Tropical coral reefs… Aesthetic temples… All this awaits you on this trip to Bali. What more do you expect!!! ITINERARY: Day 00 (28th Sept) | Arrive in Bali Om Swastiastu! Welcome to Bali. On arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, we’ll be transferred to the home-stay / guest-house (check-in after 15:00 Hrs). Free to relax. You can opt to go out shopping or just stroll in the streets. Not part of the package. Day 01 (29th Sept) | Ubud Today we head to Ubud, the artistic and cultural heart of Bali. The charming Julia Roberts starrer “EAT PRAY LOVE” popular Ubud, is surrounded by lush rice paddies and steep ravines setting the stage for breathtaking scenery. Famous for its historical temples, yoga retreats and cultural classes, art galleries, day trips and more, Ubud, is the right-choice to begin our 7-day sojourn in Bali. Much of the charm of Ubud lies in the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the unspoiled local villages which are well worth exploring on foot. Wander around the market or get up close with the long tailed macaques’ monkeys at the monkey forest. End the day with an easy straight-forward walk on a beautiful trail through rice fields and scenic grasslands affording gorgeous views of the river valley below. If you’re a foodie, try the smoothies, vegan or simply try some street food. Known as one of the top places in Bali to experience and appreciate Balinese culture, Ubud has a more traditional, vibrant and laid-back nightlife than the fancier and more hard-partying places in the south. When it comes to deciding what to do at night in Ubud, you will be selecting from a number of friendly bars and pubs where you can experience excellent live music. If you are looking for some more traditional culture at night, check out a performance of some Balinese dancing. Spend you evenings as you feel like! If these fail to interest you, get a spa done. Day 02 (30th Sept) | Ubud & Around Go all out on today’s full day experience. We start the day with a trip to an impressive waterfall, unique for its lush green surroundings and heavy water flow, perfect for swimming and enjoying the fresh water. We then visit a stunning landscape that features a waterfall, river and an ancient temple. We then visit a temple famous for its natural spring water which is frequented by the locals for a cleansing ritual bathing. We’ll have lunch overlooking an active volcano and the glistening Volcanic Crater Lake. After lunch, we spend our afternoon wandering around the famous rice terraces of Ubud, the area’s most well known and frequently photographed. Have you ever heard of Luwak coffee, Indonesia’s world famous coffee? Learn about the unusual method of producing the coffee at a local coffee plantation, which involves the coffee berries being eaten and defecated by Asian palm civets, then collecting the part-digested beans from the forest floor. After sampling the other coffees and teas made at the plantation, perhaps opt to taste a Luwak coffee too. Day 03 (1st Oct) | Udub – Munduk Another full day of exciting experiences awaits us. Today, we drive to Lake Beratan, one of Bedugul’s three natural lakes. Admire the views of the peaceful waters and snap photos of the 17th-century temple of Beratan located on a small island on the lake. Continue north, turning off the main road to a small mountain road overlooking the Twin Lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan. Stop to click photos at the viewpoints and enjoy the scenery before descending to the beautiful remote and wonderfully scenic area of Munduk. Check in to our cozy home-stay with the scenic view of the misty mountains. Interact with the hosts to understand the Balinese culture and lifestyle. Day 04 (2nd Oct) | Munduk – Seminyak Munduk is the perfect location for hiking due to its lush tropical rainforests, stunning waterfalls and relatively cool temperature (20°-25°C) due to its elevation. Because of the exceptional weather and plenty of rainfall, many fruits, vegetables and spices are grown here contributing to its ‘Garden of Eden’ feel. There are three picture perfect waterfalls around this place that are sure to take your breathe away! We drive to each one of them and yes, two of them require a half hour hike but it’s worth the effort. We spend time absorbing in their beauty. Forget not to carry your swimwear as the blue waters are so inviting to swim and cool down. We end the day with a visit to the infamous sea-side Tanah Lot, a pilgrimage site and temple set dramatically on a rock in the sea. Day 05 (3rd Oct) | Island Day Trip Early morning, we leave Seminyak to get the boat to Penida Island, an unexplored gem of Bali. Expect white-sand beaches with silky blue waters, 200 meter high coastal cliff drops and absolutely untouched nature. It’s really surprising!!! How this little wonderland in spite of being just about 30-40 minute boat ride from Bali managed to elude the tourist radar. We explore the beautiful beaches of the island for the whole day. If you’re keen in snorkeling, this is the right place to do it. We conclude the day trip and take our return boat to Sanur and then to Seminyak. Day 06 (4th Oct) | Seminyak It’s beach time! The lengthy coastline, breezy beaches and bright skies are inviting enough to try the water sport of your choice. Take time to relax at the beach for more fun in the sun, try a traditional Balinese massage or do some souvenir shopping. Post lunch, we drive to the illustrious temple of Uluwatu perched on the edge of a rocky cliff. Built in the 11th century, the temple provides a glimpse into the ancient life in this enchanting seaside setting. Enjoy a stunning view of the Indian Ocean from 70 meters above sea level and spend time exploring the scenery and befriending the monkeys that inhabit the temple. Enjoy a mesmerizing Kecak Fire Dance performance during sunset. On return to Seminyak, hit the best night-club in town tonight and rock!
