    We'll run out and back to Seward Park along Lake Washington Blvd. on the flat and stroller-friendly path. Straight out and back is about 9 miles. Add a loop around the peninsula (close to 2.5 miles) and you're just shy of 11.5 miles.

    My favourite route! About 9 miles at about 9:00-9:30 pace. Stroller friendly! This route is difficult to cut short but it is flat and easy all the way.   • Sunday Run from Madison Park

    Madison Kitchen

    This route will start in Madison Park and take us through Washington Park, all the way to Foster Island back down Washington Blvd E. all the way to Leschi before taking a shorter route back to Madison Park. It is about 9 miles long and is Stroller friendly. If you have mapmyrun - a much clearer route: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2271263641 Details: Our base is going to be Madison Kitchen - a great spot for pastries as well as light breakfasts/lunches and only 3 blocks from the beach. The run starts here and goes SW on Madison Park (toward Capital Hill) until the SE entrance to Washington State Park on Lake Washington Blvd E. Once in the park take the first right which is Arboretum Dr. E. Take it all the way through the park until reaching its end and where Foster Point Trail begins. This will take us all the way under Highway 520 where it eventually takes us to Foster Point on Foster Island (great place for a pic). From here we turn right back the way we came but when we reach Arboretum Dr. E. we make a right on E. Foster Island Rd. and then a left on Lake Washington Blvd. E. enabling us to come down on the other side of Washington Park. We continue for a while on Lake Washington Blvd. E. to the end of Washington Park and across Madison Rd. all the way past Lakeview Park and Madron Park to the Starbucks in Leschi. Here we do a U turn, coming back the way we came until reaching Lakeview park where we make a right on McGilvra Blvd. E. and come all the way to Madison Ave. Another right here and we will be at Madison Kitchen after about 3 blocks.
