Re: [running-304] 5:00 start tomorrow night/ Post Seattle Marathon meetup spot/Winter Grand Prix

Hi Richard,

I will be running the 1/2 marathon. I have been training on my own. It just seem easier. I would not mind running with you all at times, but the drive and traffic is no fun.

I look foward in seeing you all on Sunday. My friend from Juneau Alaska will be running 1/2 marathon. I am going to see him Saturday and have dinner with him. I do not know his pace or if I will meet up with him on race day. I am planning on finishing 2 and 1/2 hours or faster.

Thanks
Jeff

Subject: [running-304] 5:00 start tomorrow night/ Post Seattle Marathon meetup spot/Winter Grand Prix

Special 5:00 Start Time this Wednesday
We will be STARTING the workout tomorrow night at 5:00 p.m.  Arrive early for warm up if you need to.  Since many are doing the pre-marathon pace run together most will not need it!
SEATTLE FULL and 1/2 MARATHON POST RACE SITE
Let's meet at the same spot that we did last year post race.  VRA (Victory Recovery Area!)
Northwest quadrant - Think Amica Insurance, Fruit, Results Terminals, Chicken Soup.  For those that we have not met before swing by and introduce yourself!  Will be nice to see you again Jeff (along with many others!).  Are you running the full or 1/2?
The plan for me is to be out on the course for about 3 observation points and then getting into the VRA at about 9:30 (means I will not see 2+ hour finishers until they get inside and hanging around until about 10:00.
Will be between the VRA and watching the marathon from 11:00 until about 1:00, at which point I may just hang out inside.
Winter 2 mile Grand Prix Entries
I have still not heard back from Bill Roe on how we should handle our entry .
I've sent him another e-mail and if I do not hear from him by tomorrow will try other means to contact him.

Congrats to all three of you that ran the Green Lake Gobble and PRed!  John M., Richard B. and Jane.  If Jane continues to get those 1 second PR's she'll be under 20 minutes in 175 more 5K races!
