RE: [running-304] Last minute notes for Fremont tomorrow night

Hey All,

The fifth man will be Hank Turner.  He’s all set to go including a leisure suit!  I was just planning on running shirtless with a tie but I’ll just upgrade to a white shirt and tie since I can’t find my ‘70s powder blue polyester leisure suit.  Everybody knows that the costume is from the waist up, right?

I will bring a soft briefcase with 4 cans of tuna and a can of refries.  I’m wondering if we should have 4 more regular size cans in the event that the tuna doesn’t cut it at the briefcase inspection.

I will also have a 4 foot cable and a U lock so we can lock several bikes together.

Let me know if I forgot anything.

See y’all at “Waiting For The Interurban!”

Couple of last minute notes:

Parking can be VERY difficult.  Plan accordingly and if you drive you probably want to budget an extra 15 minutes for parking and walking a mile to the race registration!

I will pick up race packets for the relay members at about 4:45.

Sandra, Kelley, Elise, Jen, Aimie, Diego, Karl, Barry, Andy and (Karl and Andy are working on this, but I will pick up Edwards packet for whomever it turns out to be!).  I believe Sandra and Karl are making sure briefcases and cans of food are taken care of.

Plan on meeting at "Waiting For The Interurban" no later than 5:15 so you can pick up your packet and get your briefcases checked at 5:30 before heading out to your exchange zone on the course.

Quick change to those just running the 5K at 7:00, coming to cheer/watch and/or have never met anyone from the group.  We will meet at the "Waiting For The Interurban" at 6:30 (not 6:15).

Hope you were able to connect to the registration site later in the day Melissa.  Was working a bit later in the day!

Should be a beautiful night with wonderful weather to celebrate post race.
