RE: [running-304] Winter Training[masked]

Hi Mira!

I TOTALLY recommend this series.  It's a lot of fun and there's just no reason not to do it (other than circumstances beyond your control).  I've done at least two of these and had a blast each time.  There have been a few recently that I haven't been able to do (those darned circumstances beyond my control), but am planning on doing this series and might have a friend joining me.  I won't be at the first race because I already have plans out of town, but am looking forward to the other five.  The camaraderie is fabulous.  I believe I was the slowest in both series I participated in as far as the RS4L group is concerned, but definitely didn't feel left out by the "fast folks."

Hope to see you there!

~k

Dear Richard and folks,
I signed up for running for life about 6 months ago. So far, I have not been able to run for more than 5 miles and usually only do 2 and 1/2. so i have not attended the runs. Do have good shoes. I used to be able to run more, but that was 10 years ago.
Is there any point to me being a part of this? I would like to run more and have the camaraderie
Best,
Mira.

Or some "old" faces!
The sooner you start up the more prepared you get!
Come by the Social Night on Friday night if interested in finding out more.
