Hey UXers!

It’s almost summer and the weather is warming... speaking of things heating up, we've got a great event planned for this month!

Let’s get together to discuss/dissect/debate hot, and sometimes contentious, UX topics. Unleash your favorite, secret unpopular opinion and watch everyone lose their minds. Get eye-opening insight from peers on a nagging question in your mind. Or just sit back and shout “Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!”

Some sample topics to whet your appetite:

• Unicorns! (of course this would be on the list)

• Flat aesthetic: all hail the IKEA of UI design

• Phablets: stupid name, stupid concept

• If you need to “sell” UX you’re not doing it right

• Personas are not users

• Agile is a passing fad

• And more…(hopefully, provided by you)

Snacks and libation will be provided (purely optional donations are greatly appreciated). Following the event, we invite all attendees to continue networking for happy hour close by.

We will be meeting at:

Ansir Innovation Center (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=4685%20Convoy%20Street%2C%20San%20Diego%2C%20CA)

4685 Convoy Street, San Diego, CA

(Please make sure to park on the street and not in the temporary parking in the AI Center/Bakery plaza.)

Come on out and mix it up, folks!
