Good morning, Jackie. I am still very new to this process...have never attended a film festival...went to the website to check information...do most of us join these festivals as members first? Just show up to an event at a certain time? ANY assist you can give would be appreciated...thanks. Have a great Sunday. Deborah

Hi Deborah,

I just provided the information first. If the organizers decide to post it as an event then they will provide further instructions. But if not you can still use the information for your own enjoymentsmile

Jackie thank you for letting us know about this particular FREE screening at the festival. Deborah you can just show up at film festivals and purchase your tickets for the films you want to see or you can pre purchase your tickets online, so that you don't have to stand in the sometimes long lines at the ticket booths.

Film festivals are special to me because the films are new and are usually being produced and directed by independent filmmakers.

Many films are shown back to back all day long at festivals. Some tickets may cost slightly more than usual because sometimes there are receptions after the films that you can attend and meet the filmmakers, directors, producers, writers and actors.

When you look on the film festival website for this particular festival you can see a listing of all the movies that will be shown, who's directing it, the time and dates it will be playing and the cost. Sometimes the trailer is listed too.
