How did you hear about our group and what do you expect to get out of it?

Googled hiking clubs in Sacramento. :)

What is your hiking level? Beginning , intermediate, or advanced?

What area do you live in AKA: Roseville, Fair Oaks, Elk Grove Etc...

Citrus Heights

What is your favorite trail?

Eddie loves the Mt. Shasta Trail. I am up for anything since I am considered an intermediate/advanced hiker. I have gone to the summit at Mt. Lassen & just recently Mt. Tallac, went up to Horse Camp at Mt. Shasta, Mist Trail at Yosemite, an easy Trail near Mt. Rainier, etc. Eddie has done strenuous hikes back East, and in California-Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, and Mt. Tallac. We both enjoyed the trail to Castle Pass near Donner Lake, but just recently I went there with a group and loved going to the top of Castle Peak and taking the ridge to Basin Peak back into the meadows and the PCT trail. There's also nice waterfall hikes near Portland. Lately we did enjoy the lushness of Mt Diablo, but I thought the Horsetail Falls hike was a good challenging hike. Lastly in the month of August 2008, I enjoyed the Yuba Gap area where we hiked to Glacier Lake and the surrounding area, plus I just did my first TRT (Tahoe Rim Trail) for 22 miles! :) It took us about 9 hours including a hour for lunch and breaks. Also, in July 2008 we hiked a part of the Longs Peak Trail until we noticed thunderstorms coming our way. Eddie summited Longs Peak about 20 years ago. :)

Are you interested in organizing hikes for the group?

The weekends are the best.

My name is Em & my boyfriend of 6 yrs is Eddie. Looking to develop new friendships with people who have the same interests: outdoors/nature, hiking, biking, & most recently . . . kayaking-all a great outlet to keep ourselves in decent shape. :)
