I am making this a permanent thread, and I will post a reply for each event I add a Geek List for.

Here are the ones so far:

Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Fox and Goose: http://www.boardgameg...

Sorry, no list for July, as I was not there. I suppose someone else needs to do these when I can not be present.

I just wanted to comment (those seem rare around here tongue ) and give you feedback.

I, for one, appreciate these GeekLists. They give a feel for what kind of games are being played in this group, and are one of the few ways people can determine whether there's something of interest to them (without showing up, of course) :)

I know they take time to make, and I don't see tons of responses to them, but I thought an Attaboy is in order for your continued efforts here and on BGG.

I'll echo John's comments--thanks for taking on this task, Kevin! I think this will really help new and prospective members get a feel for the group. I just hope it doesn't discourage people who want to play something else, so I'd like to tell everybody:

Just because you don't see your favorite game listed, it doesn't mean that we won't play it! It may be that nobody owns or brought a copy. Perhaps somebody did bring your fave game, but nobody asked them to play it. So bring your best-loved games with you and come to one of our events. Put a note about the game(s) you're bringing in the RSVP comments, and people may commit to the game ahead of time.

The GeekList for the game night at Fox and Goose on Oct. 11 has been posted. Sorry this was posted sooner, but I had a busy week, with a board game night at my son's school on Wed. and English Country Dance practice with gaming afterward on Thursday.
