Music and Meditation

Join us Tuesday nights to have a meditation experience that is greatly enriched by live tranquil music.  On Tuesday nights at the Seattle Sahaja Center, guests are settled into meditation with the aid of classical Hindustani compositions and Sanskrit phrases.  These particular formations of sounds act upon our energy centers to induce a state of peace and depth.  You might relate this occurrence to your experience when listening to any genre of music which was created to inspire a particular mood in you.  Classical compositions have existed in India for several thousands of years, and were formulated with the intent of creating a meditative mood.  While silence is golden, sometimes a little sounds helps to get us there.  Join us on Tuesday nights and see if it works for you!
