SLSO at Powell Hall for The Firebird -- Fantasy and Flame

Let's get back to Powell Hall with another great ticket opportunity from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. And a sparkling musical program with Stéphane Denève leading the orchestra and world famous piano soloist, Jean-Yves Thibaudet.

Once again, the SLSO is providing our Meetup group with group ticket pricing and the opportunity for our group to be seated together. The orchestra is also waiving ticket service charges as part of this new relationship with our Symphony Meetup.

The ticket price to sit with our group for this concert is only $29. The orchestra has made 30 seats available to us with this group pricing. Ticket purchasing instructions are at the conclusion of this write up.

Our seats are on the orchestra level and allow your view of the piano soloist's craft on the keyboard. And elevated enough to see the full orchestra. You will select your seats within our block on the purchaing site.

Those interested can join for dinner before the performance at Vito's Ristorante in Grand Center, a short walk from Powell Hall. A reservation will be made for 5:30. Please reply to the question with your RSVP.

Immerse yourself in the eccentric, captivating sounds of Russian folk music. Music Director Stéphane Denève leads the SLSO in Stravinsky’s complete score to The Firebird, a 1910 ballet that revolutionized orchestral music while reimagining an age-old fairy tale. Adding charge to this electric program is Jean-Yves Thibaudet, who returns to the SLSO to perform Khachaturian’s Piano Concerto, a shimmering showpiece inspired by Armenian and Russian folk tunes. Guillaume Connesson’s Maslenitsa brims with the energy of a Slavic holiday festival to complete this colorful musical set.

HOW TO ORDER DISCOUNTED SEATS WITH OUR GROUP

• Go to www.slso.org
• Go to "Get Tickets" then "Event Calendar"
• Put the date in for the event: Nov 22
• Enter promo code STLMEETUP in the box on upper right portion of screen, hit submit
• Once it shows the code is being applied, go to "Get Tickets Now"
• Click on the Orchestra section of the hall in the schematic - it is the only one you can access with this code in place
• This will open a seat map of the orchestra seating at Powell and it will show, in green, the remaining seats available in our group block of seats.
• We have 30 seats in our block to start. They will diminish as our group purchases them.
• Click on your preferred seats and follow the prompts for payment.

If possible, please avoid leaving an 'orphan' single seat in the middle of our block.
