SUMMARY:Night Ride - Mormon Pioneer West (Intermediate)
DESCRIPTION:SLCMTB - Salt Lake City Mountain Biking\n**The Ride:** We’ll
  be riding the Mormon Pioneer Trail from the trailhead by Little Dell Rese
 rvoir (park on the left side) all the way to the top of Big Mountain Pass 
 and then back down. This out-and-back ride is just under 14 miles total wi
 th a steady\, sustained climb of around 1\,400 feet to the top—nothing t
 oo technical\, but it’s a solid leg-burner. The reward? Gorgeous views\,
  a smooth descent\, and some good old-fashioned type-2 fun.\n\nWe'll start
  at 6:30\, so we'll have about an hour of light while we're climbing up.\n
 \nThis is a great ride for intermediate riders with solid fitness and basi
 c technical skills. The trail is mostly non-technical singletrack with a f
 ew rocky sections and switchbacks on the way up. The descent is fast\, fun
 \, and flowy with some tight corners and loose spots to keep you on your t

 dy for one of our most scenic rides of the year — we only do this one on
 ce\, so don't miss it!\nWe'll climb 700 feet up the Milky Way trail to Sky
 ridge Peak. After enjoying the views from the peak\, we will ride the Big 
 Dipper Trail which is a fun descent with little whoops and berms. Most of 
 the ride has great views of the Jordanelle Reservoir.\nThis ride is best s
 uited for riders who are comfortable with moderate climbing and easy inter
 mediate trail features. Plan for about two hours in the saddle.\nAs always
 \, we run a no-drop format\, we'll regroup at key intersections so nobody 
 gets left behind. Come out and experience one of the most scenic rides the
