Solstice Dinner
It's the longest night of the year. Spend it in good company with fellow freethinkers while enjoying a relaxing meal at one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Sipz has two locations, and I prefer going to the one in Kearny Mesa for the simple reason that it's easier for me to get to from home. Sipz is somewhat conveniently located (by San Diego standards) at the interchange of the 805 and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. if you're approaching from the east, you'll need to make a U-turn at the light at Doliva, then enter from the beginning of the on ramp. From the west, just pretend you're going to get onto the 805, then take the driveway into the carpark immediately before. I enjoy the Asian-inspired fare served here, and love the variety of dishes. We'll agree on what to order, then share all of it so that everyone gets to try everything. In other words, it's a share-and-split. One of my favorite items to order is the (vegan) sushi - delicious! Please keep your RSVP up-to-date. It's an affordable dinner out, typically less than $20pp. Looking forward to seeing you there!

What we're about

We're looking for intelligent, creative and fun people to join our community of Neighborhood Atheists and Agnostics. Building a fun-loving, supportive community is the main purpose of this group, not discussion of atheist philosophy. This group will provide the benefits available to like-minded communities without the downsides, such as religious beliefs. We welcome atheists, agnostics, humanists, brights and other secular humans.
