So sorry this happened, Eric. I changed my RSVP to no several days ago, so I hope you're not including me in this. It isn't right, though.

No Sandy, we are only sorry we limited the number then those who might have wanted to come would not have made other plans, waiting to see if others would cancel. Sorry, but it was our feelings were the biggest damage was caused, not what we spent on the day.

Kira, I didn't sign on until today so I hadn't seen your message. I tried to be gracious, still your husband and you are seething with hatred and it's so unnecessary. I was neither selfish rude or misrepresenting the facts as I knew them. It saddens me deeply that you are venting your ire at me over something that could NOT have been avoided on my end. It's not my fault that I am ill with Cancer and other conditions that interfere with my best intentions and force me to change plans; it is intentional, however, that you and your husband choose to purposefully be nasty to me on Thanksgiving, a day when people give thanks, reflect and in general attempt to be kind and gracious. Well, nice people, at least. Good day to you.

Eric, I'm not understanding your post; the only thing that comes through is anger. Being that my partner and I are vegan, and, as your wife stated, the very non-vegan meal was already planned, my change of RSVP a couple of hours ago doesn't impact your food plans at all, does it? I am sorry that you seem to feel bitter and angry; if you'd like to know why I personally changed my RSVP, send me a private message and I will elaborate. I do hope that you are able to invite others from the waiting list or even others who may see this since our postings will 'bump' this event. Blessings and Be Well!

I think you should understand it. Moreover, I had said, by all means bring a Vegan dish and, in fact, had made special Vegan dishes for you! I'd given you my phone number, said you coming early might work out well, and please call me. So this is garbage, and you know it. It was also pretty clear that the wait list had cleared. Like no one else -- other late cancellations did happen, but at least it wasn't Thanksgiving morning for goodness sake -- you were selfish, rude, and now, misrepresenting the facts. Hey-- in the end you gave me something to be thankful for -- I didn't have to put up with you!

Hi All: I sent out the address via e-mail, so if you did not get it, please call[masked] for directions. We're looking forward to meeting you. We will plan dinner for around 3:30, but since the Texans/Lions starts at 12:30, folks can come anytime after noon. The game will be on:)

I have two Brussels Griffons - the prototype dogs for Ewoks and from the moving "As Good As It Gets" with Jack Nicholson. They are hypo-allegenic, smart and sweet... what else do I need? Thanks for asking... always love to share my breed:) Hope you have a great Thanksgiving -- this has been a good year for new friends!

I just got back from vacation and just saw this posted. I'm disappointed i was unable to reply earlier, and am hoping you can accommodate this holiday "orphan."

I am a vegan organic chef who specializes in making yummy delights that don't scream "VEGAN" so if you want me to bring anything let me know. If you need help cooking at all, I offer my hands to you as well that day.

Hi Brande - I tried to reply earlier, but I don't think it went through. Anyway, as this will be a very non-vegan dinner (for better or worse:), if you want to make something that would be great. I don't know what my timeframe yet will be for cooking, but if you are available, that might work out well. Give me a call at[masked] before TG and we can figure it out when we're a bit closer. Cheers!

I see that both the hosts are officially "attending" -- was this on purpose? I'd like to attend with my partner, but there is only one meetup space left. Thanks!
