This is a North County Hands-on workout, Underwriting a 130+ unit multi family property

New small group event for Monday December 12, 2022 from 630pm to 8pm, underwriting an example of a 130+ unit multifamily opportunity. The purpose of this exercise is to help you understand the process for underwriting larger unit properties, which may be in or out of state.

We'll quickly go over an example of a business plan, take a look at the Offering Memorandum (OM), rent rolls and Financials, pull some rent and sales comparables, plug it all into the underwriting spreadsheet workbook and see what we can do to make it fit the business plan.

For this exercise we're going to use the workbook from Michael Blank. Please let me know if you need an underwriting spreadsheet. Don't forget your laptop and charger.
