The group Show & Tell event for April will be held at the home of Jennifer Therieau in Kensington, who has graciously agreed to host our event. Attendance is LIMITED to 20 members. This will be a bring your own drink/bring snacks to share event, and you are encouraged to participate though it is NOT mandatory.
Remember, this is a show & tell event and you can bring up to three (3) photography related items to show and tell about. Photos, books, cameras, etc. - Your choice.

I'm just around the corner from the Starbucks at Adams Ave. and Marlborough Rd. Look for the two pine trees and white birch in the front yard (which is undergoing relandscaping, so it's mostly dirt and rocks right now).

Note that this event has a WAITING LIST, and if it reaches the 20 limit, anyone signing up will go on the waiting list and be added as someone else changes their RSVP. The waiting list is in order of when you sign up.
As soon as we get a new location settled on, we will be able to have a larger group attend (in case you don't make the cut for this one).
For anyone who hadn't heard, we received news from Jodi Tomas, the proprietor of Cafe Loma, that she had to close the business down as of this past week. Needless to say, we are looking for a new permanent location to hold our gatherings and will let you know when we settle on one. Thanks to all who messaged me with ideas and info on potential venues.
NOTE: Group socializing before the event and then the Show & Tell segment will begin at around 7:00.
You are invited to bring from one (1) to three (3) prints in any format to Show & Tell in front of the group. You can also bring a photography related show & tell item in lieu of a photo.
Prints should be 8x10 or larger and can be matted, framed, core backed or just loose.
Be prepared to give a brief description of your imagery (where taken, any settings you'd like to share, conditions, special treatments, etc.) The audience is invited to ask questions and offer up comments.
We will go around the room until everyone that has brought in images has had a chance to take part in the Show & Tell.
Bring your imagery to share, whether it be prints, snapshots, online or on digital devices! Got a new camera you're not sure how to use? Need advice on where to photograph or someone to partner up with for some outdoor photography? Just want to talk photography? This is the place!
Join us and meet with your fellow photography group members in a new, friendly and relaxed setting. Talk photography and share your photo work or view other member's imagery. This is also a good place to network for upcoming photo outings and events. Members are encouraged to share their expertise with other members. The more we all learn, the better pictures we take. If you'd like, you can bring something to the meeting that members can photograph to work on better photographic creativity. This event is FREE and friends are welcome to attend.
