Currently I 'm using a Ricoh XR7 SLR 35mm film camera with a Tokina AT-X [masked]mm zoom lens f[masked] and a 67mm Tiffen haze filter as my only lens.I 've been using a small flash unit on the center flash shoe instead of the large potato masher units on the left side. This particular set up works for me beyond the call of duty, withstanding enormous abuse during all my vacation trips, weddings, car shows, kids close-ups,air shows, portraits and model railroads. It's great when you you capture just the right exact moment and it comes out perfect without bracketing.I use asa 200 color print film set on automatic, mainly Kodak film.I recently ordered online a Nikon D60 with a Nikon[masked]mm 3.5 VR zoom lens to get more creative within the digital realm.Again,I 'm using only just that zoom lens for everything. This hobby gets into my blood. It's fun!
I really fell in love with Maui,Hawaii since the first time I went by myself for 3 weeks in the summer of 1994.The air is just undescribably clean and clear, the wilderness so bright with colors, waterfalls you just have to see in person and some of the best sunsets on the planet. They even had NHRA drag racing on abandoned WWII airstrips. How could you not love Maui? Next I'd like to go Marbella, on the south coast of Spain. My parents went there and I want to go check it out if.Also I want to vacation in Costa Rica,Central America, since they also went there and I have read some excellent things about Costa Rica.
Learning new things from those with far more experience in digital photography than myself. For example I want to learn how to upload images into my computer. This may be easy for some unless you don't know how.
As long as it does not involve underwater caves(spelunking) or underwater wrecks.Seems more dangerous than my 1 year tour of duty in a combat zone in the U. S. Army.Sure,I have always enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends.
Ansell Adams and Margaret Bourke White.
My maternal grandmother gave me a new brown plastic Kodak brownie camera when I was 5 years old.I was fascinated by the endless possibilities of the medium and black and white photography from the 126 film required.Still have that camera.
Network and make new friends.
