Stroboscopic canon flash question

Canon catalogue states 580EX II and Mr-114EX speedlites can be fired as multiple strobe during a single exposure. I can not find instructions in either manual.

Is anyone familiar with the speedlites and how to use them as stroboscopic flash?

If you are asking about multiple firings during a single shot it is on page 24 here

http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/flashes/speedlite_580ex_ii?selectedName=BrochuresAndManuals

click on SPEEDLITE 580EX II Instruction Manual
