Join us for "Food for Live Grooves", a Food Drive at The Hideout (http://thehideoutsd.wordpress.com/) in Normal Heights that will benefit Mama's Kitchen, (http://www.mamaskitchen.org/) a non-profit charitable organization that delivers food and support to San Diegans affected by AIDS or cancer.

This Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 5pm and 9pm, The Hideout is offering $1-off drink tickets to anyone who brings in a nonperishable food item. Only one coupon can be used per drink, but there’s no limit to how many food items you can exchange for drink coupons. Just make sure you trade in your food items between 5pm and 9pm, and then your drink tickets are good all night. That’s a pretty naughty incentive to be nice.

Friday night will feature the spinnings of Hip Hop Roots San Diego (https://www.facebook.com/HipHopRootsSanDiego), Saturday has The Heavy Guilt frontman Erik Canzona (https://www.facebook.com/ecanzona) and his band The Narrows performing, and Sunday features readings by NOW That’s What I Call Poetry (https://www.facebook.com/NowThatsWhatICallPoetryReadingSeries) at 5pm and Pants Karoake with free Luigi’s (http://www.pizzerialuigi.com/) pizza at 9pm.

**SDYP will probably try to pull a group together to go on Saturday night if you want to join on that night.**
