NO Virtual Ukulele Rebellion for May 2026

San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion met on Zoom for the first time on April 18, 2020. This past April, we celebrated our sixth anniversary on Zoom, and on the very same day in April as our first meeting!

Due to waning interest, recent low attendance, the increased availability of local in-person ukulele events, and a busy upcoming schedule for me, I am considering winding down our Zoom jams. I've decided to cancel our Zoom jams for May and June so I can catch up with the rest of my life, and I am considering a Zoom bash in July to celebrate our six years of playing music together online. Check back for a post about that event when it's been scheduled.

I would not wish a pandemic on anyone, and I know this pandemic changed the trajectory of all of our lives, but I am grateful that it brought this group to Zoom and I am especially grateful for all the wonderful people I've met through these Zoom jams. Thanks to everyone who has made our Zoom jams a great success and, at least for me, a wonderful experience. I hope to see you at our next Zoom jam.
