What we’re about
Yeah, we actually love it when people want to step up and help out there are definitely volunteer and leadership opportunities if you're interested in being more involved. Whether you want to help plan events, host a meet up, or just be a familiar face who helps welcome newcomers, we’re all about giving people a chance to shape the community. A lot of our past event leads started out just like everyone else attending a fun outing and realizing they wanted to do more to help others connect.
Most of our members are locals from San Jose and the surrounding areas who are tired of swipe culture and looking for something real. They’re professionals in their 30s and 40s, pretty down to earth, and really intentional about who they spend time with. You’ll find folks from all kinds of backgrounds tech, healthcare, education, you name it but what they have in common is a desire for meaningful connection, not just passing dates.
Our main goal is simple: help singles build genuine relationships through fun, low pressure events. Floor 13 isn’t about crowded bars or awkward speed dating we do things like hiking, cooking classes, game nights, and weekend trips so people can actually get to know each other. We believe that real relationships grow naturally when you’re doing something you enjoy with people who share your values.
