Twilight Trek: A Hike under the Starts

Saturday, August 2 | 7 p.m. (Sign-in at 6:30 p.m.)

Moderate to Strenuous: The journey begins with a brief astronomy presentation, highlighting celestial wonders that may be visible in the night sky. Then, embark on a moderately difficult 4-mile hike along the Cerro de Las Posas ridgeline trails, where you’ll take in breathtaking evening views of Lake San Marcos and the Valley of Discovery. Be prepared for steep climbs, with a total elevation gain of 1,390 feet.

Recommended Equipment: Flashlight, Headlamp, and all your glow gear!
