Freedom Forum Presents:
Safe to Drink?
Scott McGilvray, founder of Water for Santa Cruz (waterforsantacruz.com), and members Becky Steinbruner and Jerry Paul will address the current water situation in Santa Cruz County.
Scott McGilvray has over 3 decades experience in water conservation and "water politics". He has made two documentaries about Santa Cruz water.
Jerry Paul is a participant in the Water Supply Advisory Committee for the City of Santa Cruz, and promoter of the "Lochquifer" concept.
Becky Steinbruner has been active in her community for years; most recently regarding the Aptos Village Project and related water issues. She has filed legal action, in Pro Per, against Soquel Creek Water District regarding the Pure Water Soquel Project to inject millions of gallons of treated sewage water into the Mid County Groundwater Basin. She is a contributor to the Bratton Online blog (www.brattononline.com).

Santa Cruz Freedom Forum is a group of volunteers dedicated to providing an open forum for the discussion of current issues that may not be receiving adequate coverage in the mainstream media.
Freedom Forum is non-partisan, and not endorsed by nor does it endorse any political party. The topics of honest and effective government, sound monetary policies, an accountable foreign policy, are often at the table, as well as other aspects of politics that affect us all, whether it be on a local, national, or global level.
A most important part of our events is to provide a forum for people from all backgrounds to voice their concerns and opinions about different issues and network with others to take action. We believe that people can come together to unite on common issues of great importance rather than be divided by political party or minor issues.
Here is an example of unity across party lines on some big issues: "We Agree (http://www.votenader.org/weagree/)"
