Subject: [newtech-86] Dinners with some of the best startups in the valley

Hi! I'm Thomas, a member of the groupI thought you guys might find these small tech talks and startup dinners interesting. This month, five companiesDropbox, Quora, Causes, Meraki, and Stitcher (company details below) are each having private tech demos and dinners for Bay Area professionals.

1. If you’d like to be on the mailing list for future dinners, please don’t hesitate to hit reply- blank mails are fine- and I'll be sure to put you on the monthly mailing list.

2. If you’re interested in exploring engineering opportunities at these companies, and would like to meet the teams behind these brands, just hit reply, type the company’s name, and attach your resume. That's it. We’ll get back to you about your place at the dinner. It would be great if you could let me know by Sunday of this week.

Alternatively, feel free to sign up on the site:

Each start up hosts their own dinner privately in their office, from 7.30- 9pm on their chosen date. Dinners will start off with a tech demo, followed by a free flow of good food and drinks. You'll definitely get to meet a whole bunch of people at the start ups, and other Stanford Alums in the casual dinner setting. If it seems like a good fit, meet up later one-on-one and arrange an interview.
