Skiing & Snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain 4/26 - 4/28 [SM2030]

  • Apr 26, 2013 · 9:00 PM

Note: Trip is full.

Hey guys, let's go to Mammoth April 26-28! We'll drive up Fri, ski/ride Sat and Sun, and drive back Sunday afternoon. For Saturday night we'll eat dinner, drink wine, play games like Catchphrase and Scruples, and go hot tubbing!

If you haven't been before, Mammoth is one of the best ski resorts in the country! In addition to having 28 lifts and 150 runs, it has a high speed gondola from the bottom to the top! Taking the gondola is amazing as the runs are twice as long as on the other lifts.

Does the mountain still have snow? Yes! The whole mountain is currently open, though a friend of mine says a portion of it is closing down in the next few weeks and ticket prices are dropping.  Most will remain open including Main Lodge and everything to the right of Chair 4, and Eagle and Canyon Lodges and the chairs next to them will be closed.  Here's a map I made of what I expect it will look like: The best parts of the mountain will remain open and the ticket prices are $20 lower than earlier in the season.  Check here to see the current status of each run:

In addition to our condos, other costs for the weekend will include lift tickets, food, and gas. Check out the trail map here: The payment below covers the cost for the condo for both nights and breakfast for sat and sun. Driving to Mammoth means five hours of awesome conversation and car games.

Note: Spots are reserved by order of payment. I'll help you find space in a carpool. Will send the condo address out a few days in advance to those who have paid.

We'll have a fireplace, kitchen, tv, free WIFI, hot tub, and shuttle to the mountain.

Lift tickets for two days are $71/day if purchasing for two days at least 14 days in advance.

We'll be eating breakfast at our condo (included in the cost for the condo). For lunch we'll either purchase at the mountain or bring sack lunches. And we'll eat out for dinner on Sat night.

Gear rental + 4 hour lesson + all day beginner lift ticket is $158 for one day or $146/day for two days. Go here to purchase:
