What we’re about
Welcome to anyone who is interested in the R computing language at any level,
as well as applications of R in statistics, finance, machine learning and other fields. We won't debate R v. Python, but members can prefer Python and give talks on nice usages of Python too. I'm a former organizer of the Chicago R Users Group and I'm looking to recreate the welcoming atmosphere of a CRUG meetup where one could learn interesting things, meet interesting people, as well as network over beer and refreshments.
Everyone at every level of R is welcome to join. Anyone interested in helping to co-organize this group gets at least one free beer at our first meetup !
