RESCHEDULED: S c a l i n g Middle Tier Processing

This meeting was originally scheduled for 7/29, but was cancelled due to an emergency on DeWayne's end. We have successfully rescheduled the meetup for August 26th and hope you can join us. Sorry for the previous inconvience!

Did ya'll miss us? We took some time off to enjoy life (i.e. work work work) and are just now resurfacing for air - thanks to the folks over at GigaSpaces for proposing this event.

The Schedule:

7:00 pm: meet, greet & eat

7:30(ish) pm: main presentation

Followed by a healthy Q&A

DeWayne Filppi will run an in-depth discussion of how to scale middle tier processing horizontally using a combination of in-memory storage, workload distribution, strong consistency, and integration with SSDs, traditional sql databases, and Big Data/NoSQL storage.

DeWayne Filppi, Director of Solution Architecture at GigaSpace, is a Software Engineer, Architect and Consultant with over 25 years of broad industry experience. In his current role, he assists GigaSpace's customers with architecting and developing systems in the areas of in-memory and cloud computing.
