Sunday Walk from The Three Horseshoes, Bourne End, Hemel

This 5.5 mile walk from the stunning Three Horseshoes pub on the canal at Bourne End has a bit of everything, from amazing views across the hills to woodland paths and of course some canal paths along the Grand Union Canal. Also known as 'The Winkwell', The Three Horseshoes is located just outside Hemel Hempstead. Walking time about 2 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs.

After the walk there is the option of staying for refreshments at the Three Horseshoes pub.

Free Parking
Free parking is available in either of the pub's two car parks at The Three Horseshoes, the larger car park is 100 yards up the lane from the canal (on the pub side of the canal). You won't need to register your car registration number on arrival.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals.
