Themes of the Fantastic: It Came from Hollywood

This event meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month to discuss a specific topic in Science Fiction, Fantasy, and related genres.

This month's theme is a media tie-in concept.  We will discuss book series that went on longer than the movies they were based on, or were just better than the source material from Hollywood. Kind of the reverse of the "Inspired by the works of..." thing. Think one of the Alien vs Predator novels which were a lot better than the films.

Too funny! First the security gate opens and closes, then the knock on the door.....with no one outside. So true, Chris would've welcomed zombie Peter David with open arms. Fun time.

If it was zombie Peter David, Chris would've rolled out the red carpet for him to come in and offered him a banquet featuring the five of us 8)
