Science Museum Lates - coming next Wednesday!

Hi everyone,

I hope you're looking forward to Science Museum Lates; firstly an apology from me over the lack of communication recently. I look after the online marketing for three museums (the Science Museum, the National Media Museum in Bradford, and the National Railway Museum in York) so it can get rather hectic sometimes!

Everything's just about ready to go for the Science Museum's late opening next Wednesday; the first time we've opened the doors to the general public afterhours and also the first time we've focused on the audience that can get pushed to the back during normal opening times - us adults!

If you want to meet me and say hello when you arrive then I'll be located inside the main entrance when the doors open at 6.30pm. Later, I'll be walking around the various halls to record the events and take in the fun - if you arrive later in the evening you are welcome to send me a text (email me for my phone number) or send a message to our Twitter channel if you've got mobile internet or a laptop.

The top ten things to do during the evening:

- Launch a rocket
- Capture your shadow
- Enjoy a sci-fi adventure
- Control a magnetic cloud
- Watch science fiction film clips
- Make and race your own robot
- Try out your lindy hop dancing skills
- Take a guided tour of the Dan Dare gallery
- Dive into the exhibits, shows and demos in Launchpad
- Take photographs without any pesky kids in the way!

And one more very important one, for luck...
- Have a relaxing drink with your friends

The nearest tube station is South Kensington on the Piccadilly/District/Circle lines; from the station follow the signs for "the museums", along the subway. If you've got any transport issues consult the TfL website, otherwise get in touch.

And finally, if you've got any questions at all about the evening reply to this email and I'll be happy to help.

See your evening differently; visit Science Museum Lates.
