Play Boardgames in a Bar (North Park, Monthly Monday)

Come join us if you want to play modern boardgames! So we are clear, we are not talking monopoly. Rather, we are in the golden age of board games. Games such as King of Tokyo, 7 Wonders, Boss Monster, Settlers of Catan, etc. will be featured. As the Hideout, an awesome spot in North Park, have a resident DJ at 10pm, we will begin at 6pm though you can arrive at any time.

So, here's how it will work. You come to The Hideout with as many boardgames as you would like to bring (the more games the better!) Deposit those games on the designated table, buy yourself a beer, or one of the Hideout's incredible craft cocktails and find potential game players! Its that simple.

The Hideout is a great venue with plenty of tables, good lighting, and excellent drinks. They don't serve food, but allow you to bring food in from the outside. There is a ton of street parking in the area, so there is no need to get there particularly early.

Please RSVP if you can make and feel free to bring as many friends as you like. This event is cross-listed with Boardgames & Beer (http://www.meetup.com/boardgames-beer) so there will be plenty of people playing. Thanks and we cannot wait to share Boardgames and Beers with you!

Damn i work. I didn't see the notice soon enough. Is the event always on Monday, or? I usually need 2+ weeks to request a day.
