How do you feel about kids in SF ?  Too unbelievably smart?  Or just annoying?

The reason why kids in SF are so unbelieveably smart is that the authors are catering to the kids who buy the books. Kids enjoy showing up adults and so SF kids routinely save the day while the adults are scratching their heads.
