Do you prefer to read the same type of fiction you write?

I'm a scientist, so writing sci-fi smacks a bit too much of work for me =P Fantasy is more fun, less research. I love to read science fiction though.


I live in louisville? Also, I think science fiction, as well as fantasy, are legitimate literary genres more than worthy of intellectual discussion... well, most of it anyhow =P
