Can you confirm that you have read the "About Scottish Hillwalking & Activities Group" section of the website available by clicking on the "Pages" menu option or at http://www.meetup.com/scottish-hillwalkers/about/ ?

Yes

Please give some indication of your walking experience, i.e. total beginner, just local hills, Munros (roughly how many), winter experience, scrambling, foreign trips?

Done about[masked] Munros over 20 years, add about 3 or 4 every year, did Curved ridge last year. Some limited winter experience. Crossed the Pyrenees when I was 17 (carrying a wooden ice axe), also trekked in the Picos, Himalayas, NZ, Andes, Amazonia and Borneo.

Can you indicate your rock climbing experience (if not relevant please put "None") - i.e. how long have you been climbing, how current are you, types of climbing, rough grades and some idea of equipment held.

Climbing 4 years, all forms of indoor climbing up to 6C, have limited experience outdoor, though did spend a week in France 2 years ago, all spent doing Sport 5/5+. I've got a helmet, 30m rope and some quick draws that haven't seen too much action.

What kind of walks/climbs would you like to do?

Everything from local walks in the campsies to full days out in the Munros. My main activities are climbing (mainly indoor) and paragliding (always outdoors!) so hoping to combine walking/scrambling up with flying down from the bigger Scottish hills.

Where are your favourite or preferred places for walking/climbing?

Live in the Campsies / Trossachs but venture further afield as well.

Introduction

Aiming to combine climbing, walking and flying with good company along the way.
