Raising money for a startup is a complex, challenging process with many options and pitfalls.  Funding options include:

 1) convertible debt

2) seed preferred

3) SAFE

4)  Series A

5)  venture debt

6) friends

7) angels

8) super angels

9) accelerators

10) micro VCs

11) crowd funding

12) corporate venture capital

13)  traditional venture capital

and more....

The variety of types and sources of capital have continued to grow, and each has its advantages and disadvantages. The advent of turmoil and volatility in the financial markets in 2016  brings additional uncertainty and potential major disruption in the capital raising process.

Veteran Silicon Valley corporate attorney Todd Rumberger will provide an overview of this fundraising morass and insight into how to make the best choice for success.

Please come with your questions and scenarios.
