A MeetUp with Marjolein Pilon

On Tuesday 13 June Marjolein Pilon will facilitate the Scrum Facilitators MeetUp! ​

This workshop is about giving your scrum teams practical tools to make their IT landscape more sustainable. What choices would you and your team make if you consider planet earth as your stakeholder?

Just like other sectors, IT needs to reduce its footprint to help decarbonize the world. We are pumping vast amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere, too quickly to adjust. Our challenge is to minimize emissions while maintaining the same value.

This workshop will inspire you to raise climate awareness in your teams and it will help you define your first steps in guiding your teams towards a more sustainable IT landscape.

Guidelines:

  • Fresh topics and content (testing grounds?)
  • Energizing, inspiring and actionable sessions
  • Open and inclusive - English preferred to enable more people to join
  • Please help us with guidance to accommodate your specific situation. For instance, dietary needs or other specifics to help you experience the meetup optimally.
  • Language: english unless we have a strict dutch understanding audience... We are willing to explore ways to enable attendance for non english speakers, contact us please.
COVID-19 safety measures
Event will be indoors
We expect everyone to be responsible (naive, we know). While in the Netherlands all restrictions are lifted, please do self test if appropriate, and stay home in case of COVID infection or suspected illness. So basically minimize risk of contagion within common sense (for any illness). Be considerate to yourself (recover!) and your fellow humans (don't infect). ;-)
