How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?

I've been knitting for about three years. I recently learned cables and enjoy incorporating them into my knitting. I like doing Mystery KALS. I'm trying to learn socks and how to get garments to fit properly.

What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?

Shawls, socks, tops.

How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?

My grandmother taught me long ago, but i'd forgotten. About three years ago my eldest daughter wanted to learn and a colleague taught her, she lost interest but mine blossomed into a complete addiction!

What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?

I wish I could learn to properly gauge, make calculations and get my garments to fit properly.

I live in S. San Jose, I love knitting, learning new techniques and am working on perfecting garment fit. I love meeting other knitters. I've just started a knitting group at my office.
