How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?

I started knitting last year, a co worker was teaching me. I left that job and haven't kept up with my knitting as much as i would have liked. My first scarf was umm..very handmade looking, but I am proud of it. I have since made a cowl, and a hat. I'm currently working on another scarf with a pattern I got from Ravlery...I really like it but to be fair i haven't worked on it in 6 months. I keep meaning to. For that scarf it is snowflake pattern so it's a combo of knitting and pearling. I hope i remember what the patter is!

What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?

I like to knit anything simple because i'm really new at this. I want to keep the things but end up giving them away because people like them. so that's nice.

How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?

My co worker is an avid knitter. She has a knit night with her friends. I always saw her knitting at lunch and decided I wanted to learn how to knit. We started simple but since then I've made a hat, a cowl and i'm mastering my pearling. I loved knitting...i miss that i don't do it as often

What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?

how to gauge what yarns go work what patterns. I know the pattern will usually tell you but i also know you can adjust and right now, i'm just not that good at that and I have this beautiful yarn that I want to use but I'm afriad to pick a wrong pattern
